In our modern facilities, NUPIGECO manufactures all their piping and the vast range of fittings that now comprise the Smartflex system including:

All products are available in a wide variety of sizes and configurations making the system adaptable to various kinds of installation and use cutting-edge technology like barcodes for fitting identification and welding parameters for traceability allowing ease of assembly and installation cost-reductions. The key materials employed in the production of Smartflex pipes is high-density polyethylene (HDPE) which, apart from its working benefits to the user, can be a more cost-effective solution than more traditional materials. All Smartflex primary piping consists of a multi-layer composite wall lined product which, by combining the excellent mechanical properties of HDPE with the low permeability and high resistance to hydro-carbons of a new class of polymers used in the lining material creates a level of hydro-carbon compatibility unattainable by other fuel pipes on the market today
First in its field

The internal lining of the Smartflex single-wall lined pipes are colour coded either green or yellow: the green identifies piping designed for product lines for either suction and/or pressure lines. The yellow identifies filling lines and piping designed for use in vapour recovery and vent lines and all those which do not constantly convey liquid fuel. The lining on the internal surface of both pipes protects them from vapour-induced effects such as swelling and chemical de-rating. In addition all the liners act as an effective barrier to significantly reduce permeability. For greater ease of identification the colour coding of the internal lining is repeated on the external surface of the pipes along with other information including measurement increments. The internal lining of Smartflex piping guarantees not only positive identification and good chemical resistance but also excellent resistance to wear due to its high resilience qualities. The combination of these factors creates exceptional long-term resistance to pressure.
